DELICIOUS & CEREMONIAL

What’s the buzz?

Matcha is finely stone-ground green tea made from specially grown leaves. Unlike steeped tea, you're drinking the entire leaf, creating a smooth, vibrant cup with natural caffeine, antioxidants, and a calm, steady energy. The taste is fresh, earthy, and packed with an unexpectedly creamy flavor. At Matchbox, we start with ceremonial-grade (meaning of the highest quality), and we pair it with seasonal, house-made syrups, fresh cream tops, and always serve em whisked-to-order.

OUR STORY

Whisked Away

Hi! My name is Morgan, and I fell in love with matcha years ago, not just because of it’s unique flavor and incredible taste… but because of how it really brings people together.

Somewhere between whisking drinks, chatting across the counter, and watching this tiny alley fill up every day, Matchbox has become so much bigger than I ever imagined. From the daily visitors to watching someone try matcha for the very first time, the interaction with so many folks has become my favorite part of the job.

I named it Matchbox Matcha because I promise it’s the best darn matcha you’ll ever have outta this tiny little matchbox-sized space. And I hope when you stop on by, that you find your matcha not just delicious, but memorable in the way that makes our community just a little brighter, lighter, and filled with warmth.

Hope to whisk one up for you soon.

Two women, one with dark hair and the other with glasses and dark hair, are standing in a narrow outdoor alleyway with brick walls on either side. They are smiling and looking at a menu board. There is a large green leafy plant with pink and white flowers in the foreground. String lights are hanging overhead, and a staircase is visible at the far end of the alley.
